NBA return, MLB mess, Drew Brees, Johnny Majors RIP, protests/riots

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis shared the most recent positive data on the coronavirus front.

Clay Travis continued by questioning the NBA and their decision to start their season late and at Disney World without spectators.

Clay Travis also teed off on Major League Baseball as the owners and players still can’t come to a revenue-sharing agreement. Clay called their situation “absolute lunacy.”

Clay Travis went on to comment on legendary Tennessee football player Johnny Majors who died at 85. “I appreciate everything Johnny Majors did for the University of Tennessee football program over his 85 years of life. He and Pat Dye are legends of the SEC who will be sorely missed by anyone who loves college football,” said Travis.

Clay Travis concluded by discussing Drew Brees’s comment about kneeling during the national anthem. Clay believes the “blue checkmark brigade” on Twitter shouldn’t cancel Brees for sharing his opinion. “I find identity politics to be an incredible cancer to the body politic of American life. The media haphazardly moves from one fear to another fear and anyone who doesn’t buy into that fear, or share the same opinion, becomes a target.”
