Clay Travis then discussed the 2020 presidential campaign. Clay said Joe Biden isn’t winning the campaign, but Donald Trump is losing. He then shared his three-prong plan for President Trump to win:
1. Focus exclusively on the economy.
2. Be stronger on China than Joe Biden.
3. Point out the overreach and excesses of the far-left on cultural issues, especially the “defund police” initiative.
Clay Travis praised the NFL for cancelling two of the four preseason games, hoping they will ultimately cancel all four in the future.
Clay Travis continued by speaking on Donald Trump choosing to advertise his 2020 presidential reelection campaign on a NASCAR car. Clay suggested the Joe Biden campaign might want to consider following suit.
Clay Travis said Lee Greenwood recorded a new version of God Bless the USA.
"July 4th is coming up and Lee Greenwood has recorded a new version of God Bless the USA. I don’t know if it’s fair to say it’s the greatest song ever recorded in the history of mankind, but God Bless the USA is greatest song ever recorded in the history of mankind," he said.
