Coronavirus update on Florida and Texas, Jemele, Cruz vs Cuban, NFL, NHL, CFB return, Bama & A&M

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis shared the most recent and underreported positive news on the coronavirus front.

Clay Travis continued by commenting on ESPN’s “no comment” response to Outkick writers asking if the far left organization agreed with employee Jemele Hill’s opinion that everyone who votes for Donald Trump is racist.

Clay Travis also talked about the return of the NFL, with players starting to report to training camps across the country.

Clay Travis then discussed the NHL’s coronavirus test results, with only two players out of 2,618 testing positive. “You won’t hear this from the coronabros in sports media, but the NHL announced they only had two positive results out of 2,618 tests they conducted last week. This good news is the overwhelming trend with college and pro teams.”

Clay Travis offered his opinion on the online spat between Senator Ted Cruz and Mark Cuban, saying that Cruz did a 360 degree dunk on Cuban and his misguided stance on the NBA and the national anthem as well as his hypocrisy toward China and their countless human rights violations.

Clay Travis continued by talking about the return of college football, with Alabama and Texas A&M choosing to find opponents to replace the cancelled matchups with USC and the University of Colorado.

Clay Travis concluded by recognizing the progress of sports returning in spite of the fear-laden coronabros attempting to shut them down. “Remember the coronabros who said there won’t be sports in 2020? The MLB starts Thursday, the NFL had players report today, the NHL and NBA next week, and the MLS and the PGA are already back. I think the WNBA is back but I wouldn’t know if they were or weren’t.”
