And we take a tour in a mock-up old automobile. Tours are being paid for by the city so that the refugees, especially ones with children, can forget the trauma of what they’ve been through.
In front of the statue of King Danilo we find a band playing a song which has become an almost anthem of this war. And which Pink Floyd just covered. Including the lyrics:
“And we, our glorious Ukraine shall, hey, hey, rise up and rejoice!”
But, again, so much of what is a priority is helping the children caught up in this war to simply be children again. So, of course, the Bubble Man of Lviv shows up.
Like the wounded Ukrainian bird at the end. This country will rise again and fly to great heights. Of this I have no doubt.
