Wilkinson Sejour built Chef Creole into a seven-location restaurant business in Miami’s Little Haiti community. Now the end of Temporary Protected Status is hitting his operation hard: customers are scared, his entire management team is gone, and two restaurants may have to close.

Sajor told a reporter he voted for Donald Trump because Trump “sold to me that he is a businessman” who would make business decisions. Roland Martin’s response was merciless. He reminded Sajor that Trump publicly denigrated Haitians, pushed the false claim about Haitians eating cats and dogs, and made clear that Haitians were targets of his immigration agenda before Sajor cast his vote.

Roland said Sajor “literally vote[d] against your own economic interests,” told him “You slit your own throat,” and said, “Y’all, I do not feel sorry for him.” As Sajor faces the possibility of losing restaurants, Roland’s message is blunt: “He ain’t great for your business, stupid ass.”
