1:38Now PlayingProfessor Goodwin Liu today testified at his confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Sen. Jeff Sessions wrongly interpreted several passages in Liu's book, Keeping Faith with the Constitution. Liu set the record straight on his views on what fidelity to the Constitution means to him. "That's not what I believe. If I may, I think the interpretation of the Constitution always has to be on the basis of legal principle and not on the basis of what a majority of the society thinks or what the judge in question thinks," said Liu.
