The legislation being considered by the Senate Agriculture Committee will change those realities by including mandatory clearing and trading requirements, real-time reporting of derivatives trades and ensure that all loopholes are closed. "All we're asking for is to let the sunshine in. Let's find out what's going on. Let's put these things out there transparently so everyone knows who's doing what and what's being traded," said Sen. Tom Harkin.
