No Student Should Go Without Basic Needs | Inside Zion’s Closet

This summer, @lovebeyondwalls is preparing to partner with Bear Creek Middle School to launch the fifth Zion’s Closet location.

In this video, I share why initiatives like Zion’s Closet matter and how they help students and families facing challenges that often go unseen. For many students, barriers to learning have nothing to do with ability. They are connected to unmet needs, limited resources, and circumstances beyond their control.

I also talk with Ms. Davis, who has been championing this vision for the past two years. She shares what she sees firsthand, the growing needs among students and families, and why creating spaces of care and support inside schools is so important.

At the heart of this conversation is a simple belief: no student should have to navigate life without support.

If this partnership moves forward as planned, Bear Creek Middle School will become the fifth school to join a growing network of care designed to meet students where they are.
