Tucker Carlson Embraces European Fascism

Why is Tucker Carlson cozying up to outright European fascists? It turns out that conservatives in America have much more in common with out and out fascists in places like Hungary than they do with their liberal counterparts in the United States (let alone socialists, communists, etc etc). And Tucker is very much telling his audience exactly this.

Earlier this month Carlson went to Budapest, Hungary, to do a puff piece of an interview with the free-press crushing, Nazi sympathazing, destroyer of an independent judiciary, and “ruler by decree” Viktor Orbán. During Tucker’s broadcast, which to remind you is the highest rated cable news show in America, Tucker took the time to explain to his audience that rejecting liberal democracy is what all the cool kids are doing, so maybe we should do the same.

The big reason why many right wing Americans hold great affection for this brown shirt is that he took an extremely hard line against immigration in the European Union. Orban’s hardline forced the entire continent to bend over backwards to appease Hungary during the migration crisis from a few years ago (that is still ongoing), which resulted in much harsher migration policies during the crisis than other members of the block were calling for.
