Joining the Bitchuation Room to discuss the state of affairs for Democrats in Arizona is Brianna Westbrook, the southwest co-chair for the DSA national immigrants' rights working group and as an executive committee member for the Arizona Democratic Party. She formerly served as a national Bernie Sanders surrogate, vice-chair of the Arizona Democratic Party, and she co-founded the Housing Intivitive Project, a 501c4 dedicated to protecting Arizonans' right to housing through direct action and advocacy.

Senator Sinema is banking on the fact that everyone will forget how bad she was by the time 2024 rolls around and she’s up for reelection. Arizona Republicans are also likely to run an insane, Trumpian, candidate against her, so by contrast she’ll look pretty appealing to many. This is why it’s important to keep the pressure on her, and make sure her constituents don’t forget all the times she’s double crossed labor, the LGBTQ community, environmentalists, and more.

Also joining Francesca on this week’s Bitchuation Room is Josh Gondelman, a writer and comedian who incubated in Boston before moving to New York. He wrote for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver for several years and is now a writer/producer for Desus & Mero on Showtime.
