13:00Now Playing“You do a lot of work in a day, don’t you?” is one of the hard hitting questions that HBO’s Bill Maher asked Elon Musk, the former owner of an apartheid emerald mine and current owner of the world's most rapidly depreciating asset, Twitter. “There’s few people who make change happen. You’re one of those people. You’re a likeable guy, you have a sense of humor,” Maher said to Musk within the first minute of their interview.
As one of the self-proclaimed smartest guys in Hollywood, and self-proclaimed “liberal,” Maher went on to say that he was never confused by Elon’s purchase of Twitter (which he tried desperately to reneg on) because “you solve civilizational problems, and Twitter is a civilizational problem.” As you might have guessed, much of the interview was difficult to hear over the loud slurping noises.
John Iadarola is the host of The Damage Report on YouTube and a legendary friend of the show.
