In the midst of U.S.-Iranian negotiations for a nuclear deal, Israel decided to start bombing Iran. 78 people were killed, including children and civilians with hundreds more wounded. The main targets were military command and those in charge of Iran’s nuclear program.
Israel truly is a rogue nation, indiscriminately attacking all its neighbors for the “threat” they might – but do not– pose. Based on the actions of Benjamin Netanyahu and his far right government, ONLY Israel has the right to exist. They have launched bombing attacks against Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Gaza, and now we can add Iran to the list.
Israel pulled the old George W. Bush, and launched “preemptive strikes” against targets in Tehran, Iran because of their nuclear program, which is not in fact a weapons program. Of course, Israel has nukes itself but isn’t party to any agreements regarding them.
Iran has now continuously fired back with its own missile strikes on Tel Aviv and Haifa, and while most were shot down a number have caused damage and injuries.
