2:19Now PlayingThe Great Pyramid is hard to explain, not because humans could not have built it, but because of the level of precision involved. It is not simply pointing north. It is aligned to true astronomical north, within three sixtieths of a single degree. That means a six-million-ton monument, originally 481 feet high and filled with internal corridors, chambers and spaces, was built with an almost impossible level of accuracy.
Then there is the claim about its dimensions. If you take the height of the Great Pyramid and multiply it by 43,200, you get the polar radius of the Earth. If you take the base perimeter and multiply it by that same number, you get the equatorial circumference of the Earth. Archaeologists say that is a coincidence, and maybe it is. But when something this massive is built with this much precision, it is hard not to ask what the builders of the Great Pyramid really knew.
