With the 2026 midterms only two months away, Trump's MAGA Inc. super PAC has been sitting on more than $400 million while spending relatively little on competitive congressional races. That's started making some Republicans nervous — and increasingly willing to say so publicly.
The pressure has been especially intense in Texas, where Republican leaders have openly called for Trump and his political operation to deploy their resources as the party fights to hold a crucial Senate seat.
Now Trump has responded.
He says he intends to allocate between $400 million and $500 million to helping Republicans in the midterms and says he'll spend whatever is necessary to help his party maintain control of Congress.
So the question has changed.
It's no longer whether Donald Trump says he'll help Republicans.
It's whether the money actually starts flowing — how much gets spent, where it goes, and whether Republicans waited too long to start asking for it.
In this video, we're looking at Trump's massive political war chest, the Republicans publicly calling for his help, why Texas has become such an important part of this fight, and Trump's new promise to finally start spending.
