Recently, it’s come to my attention that the bones of St. Nicholas have been leaking. No, it’s not a recent phenomenon. Apparently this has been going on for the last seventeen hundred years. The stories vary as to exactly what is oozing from Santa’s remains, how much of it there is, and whether or not you can drink the bone juice, but they all seem to agree on one thing: Saint Nick stays moisturized. I know this probably sounds like some sort of weird joke, maybe even something that The Onion would come up with, but shockingly enough, this leakage is not only recorded in multiple historical documents, but it’s also been studied and potentially confirmed by science. Not within the last millennium, mind you, but within the last century, and multiple times.
