Why would anyone want to be a law enforcement officer in any state that is actively making the job legally toxic for its officers? In this breakdown, retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent, Chris Piehota, reviews reporting on a proposed Virginia bill that the Virginia State Police Association is pushing back on. The bill, from the new Democrat-controlled state government, would reportedly instruct judges and juries—when considering punitive damages in civil rights cases—to weigh factors like whether an officer wore a mask, failed to identify as law enforcement, or used crowd-control equipment. Think about that in the real world: daily interactions with violent criminals and/or crowd-control environments are exactly where officers may need protective gear—and where concealing personal identity can be part of basic safety practices for officers and their families. The bill also expands supervisor liability, allowing plaintiffs to sue not only the officer involved in the complaint, but also the supervisor—potentially opening litigation floodgates against law enforcement leaders who weren’t even present when an alleged infraction supposedly occurred. This is exactly how extreme liberals hamstring policing on levels, drive law enforcement hesitation and risk-aversion, and turn law enforcement into a spectator activity—All while crime and community decay fill the resultant vacuum.

Channel Approach: The world does not have to suck, but there are some things we should talk about without hating each other or purposely seeking conflict. Things such as current events, standing social issues, and areas of lingering concern that are of interest to many people. Are you tired of "overly-scripted", highly "curated", and "conflict-based" content that has become the norm? Are you exhausted with content that looks like contrived takeoffs of the failed mainstream media? I am. So, I hope you will forgive me for a less generic, over-produced approach where ideas can be shared in a more informal fashion about what is going on for the ordinary people of the world. For the sake of real talk, minor recording mistakes will be included in this content.
