21:04Now PlayingThis is a VERY IMPORTANT video... that outlines a very strange situation that Delaware County, Indiana is currently in... apparently due to the the actions (&/or in actions) of the County's 3 Elected Delaware County Commissioners: James King, Shannon Henry & Sherry Riggin!
This all stems from an ongoing "Solar Project Debate" that has been a hot button issue in Delaware County for a couple of years. And although it seemed as if the "BIG SOLAR DEBATE" was nearing a conclusion in the last few months...
That would all change during a "Tax Abatement Committee" report given by Delaware County Councilor, William 'Bill' Hughes (R) during the recent County Council Meeting on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. What Councilor Hughes had to say, in connection with a document that has been floating around in local government for nearly 3 years, has Kristopher H. Bilbrey (and many others) questioning just what the hell the Delaware County Commissioners were doing when they should have been working for & protecting the citizens of Delaware County!
The Council President, Jessica Piper (R) & a few other Councilors DO NOT want to deal with this issue! And they are doing everything they can to kick the can down the road! Thank God for Councilor Ryan Webb (R) and maybe a few others that are starting to come around!
Bottom line... the Delaware County Commissioners James King, Shannon Henry & Sherry Riggin have some explaining to do... THAT, OR, BETTER YET... THEY COULD SIMPLY RESIGN!
