Delaware County Indiana's 2024 Primary Election Might Not Be Over - What's The Deal With Pct. 90

The 2024 Primary Election has come and gone for Delaware County, Indiana, and as most elections go, there were winners and losers! One of those candidates that came up short was, the always controversial, Delaware County Councilor Ryan Webb (R)... he was in a race to be re-elected to one of 3 At Large Council seats.

Delaware County Council is made up of 7 Council seats... four are Districts that serve a 4 year term (all District seats are up for election at the same time) and then 2 years later the three At Large seats are up for re election and they also serve a 4 year term.

In this 2024 Election, besides Webb, there were 2 other incumbents running for re-election: Jessica Piper & Eugene Whitehead, (also both Republicans).

There were also four other candidates running (all were Republican).

There were 2 Democrats running, as well, but they were on the Democrat ballot. They will face off with the 3 winners of the Republican Primary in the November Election.

The four other candidates were: Amber Greene, David Williams, Bradley Bookout & Lori Jessee. While the race was basically every candidate running their own race... Greene & Webb had been friendly and Williams was trying to run from their side of things, as well!

The goal from 'The Political Spotlight's' perspective was for Webb & Greene to win, and then maybe Williams could pull it off, or worst case... Whitehead could win... but the main wish was to see Piper gone and we DID NOT want Bookout to win!

So, at the end of the night on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024... the results were:

Piper - 4,739

Bookout - 4,727

Whitehead - 3,700

They were the 3 winning Republicans that will move on to face Democrats: Overbey & Musick in the November 2024 Election! OR WILL THEY?

Webb, at the end of the night, was in 4th place with 3,632... he lost by 68 votes!

With all 78 voting precincts in... er... well, that was until we got to looking deeper! And it was found that Pct 90 had a problem... it showed 0 Election Day voters! But that did not make sense!

In the past, Precinct 90 saw the following:

- 212 Election Day voters in 2012...

- 401 Election Day voters in 2016...

- 143 Election Day voters, even during the "Covid Election" in 2020...

However, this year, 2024... they showed they had 0 Election Day voters! That makes no sense! Not when they have 873 Registered Voters!

Sooo, now the investigation is underway... what will it turn up? No one knows... but something isn't right and it will be figured out!

So for now, all that can be said is... "Delaware County Indiana's 2024 Primary Election Might Not Be Over! What's The Deal With Pct. 90?"
