Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey will dissect the most recent legal filing in his Federal Civil Rights violation lawsuit against Henry County, Indiana, Sheriff John M. Sproles.
The filing, titled: 'MEMORANDUM OF LAW IN SUPPORT OF PLAINTIFF'S MOTION FOR PARTIAL SUMMARY JUDGMENT,' was recently filed by Bilbrey's attorney, Gavin M. Rose. Sheriff Sproles' attorney is expected to file a response towards the end of July 2024. At that time, the judge will either rule in favor of summary judgment or the case will continue on to trial.
Bilbrey's fight concerns not just his First Amendment rights but everyone's. His passion for this cause and his past battles to uphold the First Amendment make him uniquely suited to discuss this topic in an exciting yet enlightening manner.
Bilbrey v Sproles # 1:23-cv-01259-RLY-MJD was filed in the United States District Court Southern District of Indiana - Indianapolis Division.
