SPECIAL BROADCAST | Indiana's Two-Thirds Gubernatorial Debate (10.02.24) | The Political Spotlight

This is a Special Broadcast of the first Gubernatorial Debate in Indiana during the 2024 General Election. The debate is scheduled for 7 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Nexstar Media Group is hosting and broadcasting this debate. Nexstar Media Group (based in Texas) is the parent company of several Indiana-based news stations, including Fox59 News and CBS 4 INDY.

*It is important to note that while three candidates for Governor of Indiana are on the ballot in all 92 counties, only two are allowed to participate in this first debate. Nexstar Media Group made this decision based on what The Political Spotlight believes is entirely arbitrary criteria, which has upset many Hoosier voters throughout the state.

The three candidates running for Governor of Indiana in this 2024 Election are:

*Rainwater will appear on a different debate stage alongside his Republican and Democratic opponents at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024, which will also be live-streamed by The Political Spotlight.

*He will appear in his third and final Digital Town Hall Forum at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024. That, of course, will be live-streamed on The Political Spotlight channel.

*And then, finally, he will again appear on the last debate stage of the campaign, alongside his Republican and Democratic opponents, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024. And again, it will be live-streamed on The Political Spotlight channel.
