He examines one of the most troubling aspects of the climate debate: the systematic exclusion of data that contradicted model predictions. When late twentieth century measurements failed to align with computer projections, certain researchers simply left that data out of their reconstructions. This wasn't an oversight or a minor technical decision. It was a deliberate choice to present a narrative rather than the full picture. The models driving policy recommendations required validation, and when the real-world data didn't cooperate, the data was set aside.
