EPISODE #34 – Womanese
Womanese is the language women use to covertly convey their motives and emotions to men in the hopes that they'll, 'just get it'. A lot of social engineering goes into conditioning men to respond to women's covert form of communications. Part of this is the expectation that men be 'mind readers' with respect to what exactly a woman is telling him.
If this sounds like 'passive aggressive' behaviors you're not to far off. The expectation for a man to 'get' exactly what a woman is saying to him is a behavioral manifestation of covert communication – always indirect, but always too obvious not to be misunderstood. It's the half-way point between the exasperation that prompts open and direct communication and a woman retaining the satisfaction of presenting the appearance of covert communication.
Today Pat and I will discuss the phenomenon of 'Womanese' the indirect-but-direct method of women.
