The cyber symposium host by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is now into its final day, and things aren't going very well. Even Steve Bannon, who has not only hosted Lindell's lies for months but also was present on stage to kick off the symposium, says that the event is seriously lacking in evidence and substance. This doesn't bode well for the pillow man, but that was to be expected. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Steve Bannon has been one of Mike Lindell's closest allies as Lindell has been pushing for months, his conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election. Hell, Bannon even appeared with him on stage to kick off this week's cyber symposium from the My Pillow CEO. But yesterday, Bannon started to express a little bit of frustration, frustration he says that is not just with him, but with the people in the crowd as well. Here is what Bannon had to say. This is a very engaged audience and we understand people are engaged. People have said, hey, Mike's been out there for a long time doing this and it's time now to get to the details. Uh, I would have done it differently.

Mike's his own guy, I understand it's his show. I would have come out and overwhelmed immediately with packet captures and data and show, hey, here's what I got. Pull the camera back and then frame it and then continue on.

You've laid a theory of the case out there that's very powerful. But in laying that case out, you've got to bring the receipts, Steve Bannon says, and Bannon is actually expressing what all of us are thinking, where are the receipts, Mike? So far throughout this cyber symposium and today is the final day, tomorrow's the day that Lindell says, everybody's going to wake up and say, we've got to do something. Yeah, nobody's going to wake up and say that Mike, because as Bannon correctly points out, you haven't provided any actual evidence. All we've seen so far are PowerPoint presentations that people made with just numbers that you seem to have plucked out of thin air, you know, oh, the real numbers in Alabama and Michigan and Texas were actually this. You, you have no proof. You, you just typed numbers onto a PowerPoint slide and said, this is what it is.

You have to have evidence. Anybody can do what you've done here. I mean, we could make a graph that says Biden actually won Texas by 50 million votes. That doesn't make it true. That doesn't make it plausible or even possible. But that so far is the evidence that Mike Lindell has come out and said. Now Lindell does claim that he has as Bannon pointed out here, the packet captures. So for anybody who's not familiar with this and I am only, you know, roughly familiar with this, I've done research on it, trying to figure out what exactly he's talking about. Uh, so I'm going to try to explain it, but here's the thing. Most people in this country are not going to be able to tell you what a packet capture is. They, they don't know what it is. They don't have a reason to know what it is.

And I think that's one of the reasons Mike Lindell likes to hype that. A packet capture is to put it very mildly, mildly and I know the IT people are going to say, well, actually. Look, I'm doing my best here. So a packet capture really is just a timestamp almost of all of the data and where it's coming from through a router or source. And yes, these packet captures could be very helpful if they did show, look, we've got IPs coming in from China. We have data being sent over this modem, this router, whatever it is that actually changes the vote totals. Those you could get through a packet capture if the packet captures take place during the event. Now yes, you can kind of get a timeframe there.
