There's been a lot of headlines this week about Stephanie Grisham's upcoming book, I'll take your questions now, what I saw in the Trump White House, coming out October 5th. All kinds of headlines out there saying that she is going to set fire to the former Trump administration. Grisham, as we all know, we've talked about her at length in the past, worked for Melania Trump as her chief of staff. She worked for Donald Trump. She was part of the Trump family, basically. She worked on the Trump inaugural committee. She was good friends with Melania. That's why I say she was like family until everything of course went to hell. So Grisham was in the thick of it through all of it. And she's already written one book, but she's got a new one coming out that she says is going to set fire to that administration. And here's the thing too.

People close to her have had this to say. Former west wing colleague, there isn't enough water on earth to contain the fire she could set to all of Trump world, including parts like the first lady's orbit, which not many people are in a position to aluminate. It's hard to articulate how much anxiety this is going to cause. Grisham knows where all the bodies are buried because she buried a lot of them herself. And then they go on of course, to talk about the fact that she has receipts to back up all these claims. Well, that's wonderful. But at the end of the day, this is still a human being that wants to sell a lot of books. And based on the early publicity, she's getting from people putting out these headlines, it sounds like she's probably going to do it. The question I have is what do you actually have to offer Ms. Grisham? Because if you're just going to tell a bunch of stories about how horrible these people are as human beings, we know that.

Like, that's not shocking. That's not setting anything on fire. If you want to talk about how poorly they treated staffers, we already know that. You want to talk about the fact that there are a bunch of bumbling buffoons. We know that as well. So if you want to convince us that this book is worth purchasing, you've got to come with receipts of criminal activity. That's what I want to see, because at this point, if it's anything short of that, I don't care. You know, there's a lot of people from Trump world that are putting out books, both anti-Trump and pro-Trump, a lot of analysts out there from both sides, putting out all these books as well. If you're not coming with actual criminal evidence against that administration, I'm at the point where I don't care. We all know they're bad people. Okay, we get it. We saw it. Oh, we may not have seen everything. I'm sure there's some behind the scenes stories. I don't know maybe somebody tripped a staffer one time and Trump said, ha ha, like the guy on the Simpsons, Nelson Muntz. I don't know. But I also don't care that.

So I hope Grisham has more than just some stories about how disgusting and disturbing these individuals are. I want evidence of criminal activity and anything short of that, wonderful, reiterate that these are crazy, stupid, ugly people. But that's not going to convince anyone who didn't already hate him that they should hate him. See what I'm saying? This book is really just preaching to a choir. And I'm not trying to be horrible to Stephanie Grisham by any stretch. You know, I'm not trying to, you know, tell people not to buy your book.
