Republican Governor Goes Off On Crazy Anti Vaxxers

Republican West Virginia Governor Jim Justice is watching his state go through another COVID spike, and he made it clear that he is furious with anti-vaxxers. Justice put out another video press release where he told them that their ideas are "crazy" and that people just need to get the vaccine so we can get back to normal life as quickly as possible. He isn't wrong, and his analysis of their stupid arguments is spot on. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Republican governor Jim Justice from West Virginia is basically at the end of his rope. He is sick and tired of these anti-vaxxers in West Virginia, and across the country really, spreading lies and misinformation as he watches his state go through yet another COVID spike. So yesterday Jim Justice got in front of a camera and he let these anti-vaxxers have it in a way that I absolutely loved. So here it is. Jim Justice, take it away.

For God's sakes a livin'. How difficult is this to understand? Why in the world do we have to come up with these crazy ideas and their crazy ideas that, that, that the vaccine's got something in it and it's tracing people wherever they go? And the same very people that are saying that are carrying their cell phones around. I mean, come on, come on.

For God sakes a livin'. I love that. I love that. I'm sorry. I know, again, I don't agree with Jim Justice on any of his policies, anything that he's done, but look, I got to say, as somebody born and raised in the South, I have lived here my entire life. We all know a guy like that, right? You might not agree with everything he says, but every now and then they absolutely these old Southern guys like that will hit it on the head and it's so fun to watch because all of us down here in the South, like we know a Jim Justice. Right? Crazy in a kind of backwoods looking guy and every now and then he will come out and hit you with a truth bomb that just kind of shatters everything like, holy crap. I didn't know you were capable of that kind of thought. That video by the way, was courtesy of the recount and the recount has also put together a super cut of Jim Justice because this was not the first time that he has gone off on anti-vaxxers and the people who don't want to protect themselves from COVID.

So they had put together a super cut that they tweeted out shortly after that video showing all the times he got exasperated during these same little video conferences and it's, it's hilarious, by the way, you should go check them out on Twitter, the recount. But anyway, he's right. Okay. Jim Justice is absolutely correct. These ideas, as he said, are crazy. The ideas are crazy. It's important to point that out. He didn't say the people are crazy. He said the ideas that they're spreading are crazy. Oh, you're worried about a microchip in the vaccine. Yet, you're walking around with a cell phone that literally has microchips that track your every move. You know, they see where you're at on the street so the businesses there can know who's near, who's not, and they can target ads towards you. People come on. Can we stop being stupid about the vaccines? That's the, that's the point of this. Stop being stupid about the vaccines. We have over 170 million Americans vaccinated.

And apparently, no, that's not good enough yet. We've got to get more. But 170 million people vaccinated in this country. Don't you think if these vaccines were causing severe injuries or any kind of alterations of our DNA after nine months of vaccines being administered, over nine months, actually, don't you think we'd start to see that? Don't you think we'd start to see mutants walking around in the street? People developing cancers, because this is altering our genes? You know, limbs falling off, microchips shorting out when they get near microwaves. None of it has happened. None of it has happened.
