Donald Trump has decided that the best way to spend the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks by providing commentary for a boxing match and charging fans $50 a piece to hear him. On the other side of the political aisle, President Joe Biden will be visiting all three crash sites on this solemn day. The fact that people think Trump is some kind of uber patriot is beyond pathetic, and his little 9/11 clout-chasing is just the latest proof. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks here in the United States. It was a day that obviously changed America forever. Changed the world forever. Joe Biden is going to be marking the day by visiting all three crash sites here in the US, paying his respects, remembering that day. So what's the former president going to do? What's Donald Trump up to on the 20th anniversary of 9/11? Well, as per usual, he's going to be making a spectacle of himself by offering, along with his son, Donald Trump, Jr., commentary on the Holyfield versus Belfort fight that evening. Trump and Trump Jr. are going to be doing this from the Hard Rock casino resort in Seminole, Florida. And you too can join in on the fun for just 49.99. And Trump is now out there saying that he is going to make an obscene amount of money from doing this little boxing commentary with his son, Donald Trump Jr. on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
You know, this shouldn't be a surprise. I mean, obviously Donald Trump is the guy who, after the twin towers fell in New York City, later that day said, hey, now I've got the tallest building. Isn't that great. He's never cared about other human beings. He's never had empathy for anyone at any time ever. So this is not shocking. It is however, a good indication of his character for anyone who wasn't sure about who this guy really was and what he stood for. He is never going to pass up the opportunity to make a quick buck. Even if it's on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. That's who he is. So it drives me wild, like absolutely insane, to see his hardcore supporters still out there waving their Trump flags, putting them on their trucks, driving around town acting like Donald Trump is some kind of Uber Patriot. When in reality, he's a scam artist.
The guy will do anything, say anything, make a spectacle of himself, make a spectacle of his family, of his businesses, whatever it is, just to put more money in his own pockets. Because at the end of the day, that's the only thing he cares about. You Trump supporters need to snap out of this delusion that Donald Trump somehow cares about the United States. He doesn't, he never has. If he could make the kind of money he makes here somewhere else, he wouldn't hesitate to pack up and leave if he thought the grass was greener on the other side. That's who he is. And again, MAGA crowd, you need to wake up and start understanding that. And if this little boxing commentating gig on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 is not enough to do it for you, then at this point, I don't know that anything is.
