Cops Kill Man In Target Parking Lot For Stealing Pokemon Cards

This past Wednesday, cops in Florida responded to a suspected shoplifting incident at a Target store, and ended up shooting four people and killing one. A dozen police vehicles descended on the shopping center to stop two men that were allegedly stealing a frozen pizza and several packs of Pokemon cards - offenses that didn't warrant an immediate death sentence. This past Wednesday, a dozen police vehicles descended on a Target shopping center in Kissimmee, Florida, where they proceeded to execute one man and shoot three others for the apparently capital offense of stealing a frozen pizza and a couple of packs of Pokémon cards from the Target shopping center. A man is dead because he stole a pizza and Pokémon cards from Target. Cops killed him in that Target parking lot. Fatally shot him, of course, he died at the hospital. So I guess he didn't die in the parking lot. But a dozen police vehicles responded to a minor shoplifting offense, which by the way, would've only been a misdemeanor because they didn't even take enough from the Target shopping center for it to be considered a felony. And three other people were shot and taken to the hospital by these police officers, four people were shot over a frozen pizza and Pokémon cards because that's what police officers here in the United States do.

And when the chief of police down there was asked about this man being killed over the Pokémon cards, here's what he said. This is Osceola county sheriff Marcos Lopez. This is what he told the local news outlet. I believe my deputies are justified in all their actions. I have the utmost 200% trust in everything they do based on their training and their experience. Things escalate. This is the real world. No, this is the third world where you get murdered for stealing a frozen pizza and Pokémon cards. Not a whole lot has been revealed so far about the victims and yes, that's what these people are. These alleged shoplifters have become the victims in this. We know that their ages we're roughly 18 and 19 years old. So we're talking about teenagers, right? People fresh outta high school, or about to be outta high school. One of them now dead. Life abruptly ended because of a minor shoplifting offense at Target.

Now here's where things get a little weird because loss prevention at the Target store called the cops and said, hey, we get these guys in here. We've seen 'em, you know, put a pizza in there. We've seen 'em take multiple, is what they described it, packs of Pokémon cards. Uh, loss prevention by the way, is not supposed to pursue people that shoplift. They're just supposed to call the cops. They do not want to get in any altercations. That's how it works in retail stores across the country. Their job is just to identify the missing items and report the missing items. So anyway, loss prevention calls and said, these guys are stealing. However, prior to the phone call from loss prevention, let me read this, because this makes it a little more suspicious. Doesn't it? More than a dozen units allegedly responded to a Target in Kissimmee in response to a suspicious vehicle with covered or unmarked license plates. Officers watched two men get outta the car, wearing masks and hoodies and enter the store, according to the affidavit written by deputy Cole Miller.

Miller talked to the store's loss prevention supervisor on the phone who told him that the men were leaving the store without paying for a pizza and multiple packs of Pokémon Cards. Oh, there is no indication in the affidavit that any of the suspects were armed. I guess that's also really important too. So why were the cops already there? Why were the cops already paying attention to those individuals as they went into the Target? That's what doesn't add up about this story. The cops saw.
