5:27Now PlayingDemocrats have been looking to the Biden Administration to help guide them on midterm messaging, and a new report from Politico says that the White House has finally settled on a message: Trump sucks and is dangerous. While not incorrect, it isn't exactly the kind of message that is going to convince voters to keep Democrats in power after November. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what the strategy going forward needs to be in order to prevent a Republican takeover.

For months democratic candidates across the country have been looking to the Biden white house to find out exactly what their messaging needs to be as they head into the midterms. And right now we've got primary starting, okay. Things are no longer just around the corner. They're no longer, just a few months away. We are a in campaign season people and the Democrats don't have a unified message. Well, Politico has decided that after speaking to members of the Biden white house, they know what the white house strategy is heading into the midterms, the message that they would like people would've taken to the midterms. And that message from the Biden white house, according to Politico is Trump sucks vote for us.
That's uh, that's what took them months to come up with. They want this entire midterm election to be about Donald Trump. And of course, how bad all the other Republicans are too. That's what it is. You you've had months. And the best you've got is man, that Trump guy still sucks, right? Let me read this one line. Just this one line from this political article is the only part of it that matters. I, I just said point of where I hate politic articles. You know, there I've never read a political article and been like, wow, yes, that length seemed appropriate. Now they're always way, way, way too long with more information than anybody needs. There's one line in this entire article that's relevant. The more the election becomes about Trump, the better the Democrats chances become many in Biden's orbit. Believe like that was literally what your entire article should have been by the way, that one sentence, because that tells the whole story that these people in Biden's, you know, uh, uh, hemisphere atmosphere, inner circle, whatever the hell you want to call it, that they're so detached that they think they can run against Donald Trump in 2022.
Now don't get me wrong. Trump sucks. Republicans suck. Democrats are better than Republicans, but guess what? You can't sell that to American voters. When you are the party, that's in charge, you have the house, you have the Senate barely, but you still have it. You have the white house. You can't go out there and run on. Wow, don't they suck because you are in charge. And I know Republicans have been obstructing everything. So don't even bother telling me, but Faron the obstruction. I understand it. I report on it every day. I read it every day who doesn't read this crap every day, 99% of the people in this country, you know what they do. They go to work. You know what else they do. They wonder how they're gonna pay their bills. You know what else they do. They wonder why Biden hasn't delivered on all those promises he made.
They don't bother to look into it. They don't have the time to look into it. And I don't fault them for that either. This isn't a me not understanding it. This isn't a, you not understanding it. It's about the Biden administration, not communicating effectively enough, why things haven't been able to get done in this country instead of making excuses and all kinds of crap and toying with us, maybe today is the day we, we cancel student loan debt. Nope. Maybe not for everybody. We're gonna means test it, but maybe not. Maybe we won't even do it at all, but maybe we're gonna do all I'm sick and do God tired of it. Okay.
