Bernie Sanders Takes Down Lindsey Graham During Fox Debate

Fox Nation aired the first of several upcoming debates between Bernie Sanders and Lindsey Graham this past Monday, and it is safe to say that Bernie walked away the winner. He was able to calmly and plainly explain how the United States is falling behind the rest of the world on basic issues like healthcare and education, while also pointing out that the public actually supports what Bernie wants to do - and NOT what Graham wants. While everybody has been talking about the, uh, January 6th hearings that have happened, you know, over the last week and a half. And for good reason, obviously it's the biggest news out there. There was another hearing kind of, if you wanna frame it that way, that happened, live streamed on Fox nation. And this was something we had talked about prior to it happening. It happened this past Monday, and it wasn't, like I said, a hearing, it was a debate between senators, Bernie Sanders and Lindsay Graham. The first of several debates that are gonna be happening throughout the summer into the fall between the two senators talking about issues of the day. And for anybody who may have forgot that it happened, or, you know, didn't know it was gonna happen. I'll just go ahead and tell you right now that Bernie Sanders pretty much mopped the floor with Lindsay Graham, Lindsay Graham had no retort to Bernie Sanders ideas, his plans, you know, his talking points other than to say, well, that's socialism. We can't do that. It's socialism. That's all the man could say he couldn't offer any solutions. He couldn't offer any valid criticisms of what Bernie Sanders had to say. He just kept saying, well, that's socialism and we don't have socialism here. So I have to read, I have to read these statements from Bernie Sanders. They're just, they're wonderful. They're so wonderful. So here it is.

Does Lindsay care that we have the highest prices in the world for prescription drugs and that the pharmaceutical industry right now has 1500 paid lobbyists in Washington DC, to make sure that in some cases we pay 10 times more for the medicine that we need. Did Lindsay talk about the fact that we have in South Carolina and all over this country, tens of millions of workers working for starvation wages. Did he talk about a corrupt political system in which billionaires today can start a superPAC uh, and I guess you have some familiarity with super PACS, they help fund your campaign who can spend unlimited amounts of money to elect candidates. I didn't hear Lindsay talk about the crisis of climate change. Do you have a concern that two people own more wealth than the bottom? 42% bottom line is we're moving towards an oligarchy. And if we don't stand up and say that we need a government that represents working people in the middle class, I worry very much about the future of this country.

And then of course, Lindsay Graham goes into his whole well that's socialism, socialism socialism. So Bernie Sanders retorts the policies that I advocate are taking place all over the world. I think we should increase benefits for social security recipients by lifting the cap is that socialistic is making sure that all of our kids are able to get a higher education. Is that socialistic is saying that three wall street companies should not control $20 trillion in assets. And we gotta break them up. Is that socialistic, take a look at the issues we are fighting for on every one of those issues. Lindsay, guess what? The American people support me,
