Secret Service Magically Finds Missing Texts After Investigation Announced

After telling the world this past week that text messages from service members in the days surrounding January 6th were missing for good, an investigation was announced by the Inspector General to find out what happened inside the Secret Service. And now, in a miraculous turn, the agency says that they have found the text messages on multiple different devices. This only makes the drama worse, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Glory, hallelujah folks. We have witnessed a real life miracle in Washington, DC. Last week we were told by the United States secret service, that those text messages that the, uh, house select committee and that the other investigators wanted to get their hands on. Totally disappeared. The secret service looked everywhere. They couldn't find them. Those text messages. They told us were gone forever. And then miraculously, shortly after it was announced that a criminal investigation had been launched. The secret service says, oh shoot, wait a minute. Here they are on at least 10 different devices. We found all of those text messages you were looking for. Again, praise the Lord. It is a miracle that these text messages magically reappeared, as soon as a criminal investigation against the secret service was launched. I don't know if you believe in God or not, but really folks we've gotta admit, this is quite a miracle here.

Cuz those text messages again, just miraculously and magically reappeared on these devices that the secret service already told us they'd looked through. They weren't there. They all got deleted in the migration except they didn't. And the secret service very clearly lied to us about not being able to find the messages either. They lied to us about not being able to find the messages or they never actually looked in the first place, right? It's gotta be one of those two things. But again, the fact that they found them as soon as a criminal investigation was launched, that kind of tells us everything we need to know that this likely was malicious. Not only the oops, we can't find them, but clearly I think the deletion of these text messages in the first place now, as I pointed out last week in today's digital age, nothing is ever really deleted, especially not text messages, right? Those things are saved. If they're not saved on your personal device, they're either saved in the cloud. They've been connected to other devices where they're saved. In many instances, you can actually get them from the cell phone carriers themselves. These things are never truly gone.

And apparently, sometimes they're just still sitting on the device. You just don't want to admit to the investigators that you still had. 'em in your possession. Uh, the secret service has taken such a massive hit that I don't know that this agency is credible at all anymore. Right? Let's not forget right at the end of the day, these people are still cops. Okay? And we have seen the problems with cops here in the United States. They're no different. It doesn't matter if you wear a suit and tie and have an earpiece, or if you're walking the beat with a badge, trying to make sure that no black kids steal a bag of chips from a grocery store.

Apparently they're all the same from the top to the bottom and everywhere in between. And these secret service agents are no different. They were trying to protect their own. They didn't want to give up their own members and now they have become so embroiled in this scandal that it threatens to take away any legitimacy that this agency ever had. I'd say it's time for some firings. I'd say it's time to give up these people. I know the secret service is clearly gonna try to protect their own like they have been. But now that you've found the text messages and of course now that there is still an ongoing criminal investigation, cuz they're not gonna drop it just cuz you said you couldn't find them.
