Republican Senator Admits To Deeper Involvement In Fake Elector Scheme Than Previously Claimed

Republican Senator Ron Johnson has changed his story once again about his involvement in the fake elector scheme, now claiming that he was involved for about an hour. Previously, Johnson had said that his involvement lasted only a matter "of seconds," but now it appears that he is having to shift his story as new information continues to trickle out. Well, folks, Republican Senator Ron Johnson, who has been implicated in the fake elector scheme, has once again changed his story. I think we're on about the fourth or fifth revision at this point. Uh, you'll remember a couple weeks ago, maybe a couple months ago at this point, Ron Johnson told us that after the news broke, that he had his, uh, you know, staffers personally try to deliver the fake Wisconsin electors to Vice President Mike Pence. Ron Johnson came out after saying, No, I had nothing to do with this. I didn't know about it. Then he said, Okay, well I was involved, but he said, literally for a few seconds, right? Just a couple seconds. Well, this week he changed that story again, while talking to an NBC reporter, he said, I was involved for probably about an hour. Okay? There's a big difference between a couple of seconds and an hour.

Like I've been talking right now for a couple seconds. If I were sitting here talking for an entire hour, there'd be a lot more information exchanged, right? I, I think we can all agree that world of difference between a few seconds and an entire hour. And I think we can also all agree that Ron Johnson is most likely a big fat liar because he has changed his story, as I said, four, five times at this point. It went from being, yes, I did it to no, I didn't to, Yes I did, but only for seconds. Now it's, Oh, I did it, but it was just a couple hours and I did nothing wrong. And now he's trying to claim that the January 6th committee is trying to smear him. But here's the reason. Ron Johnson's story has changed. Text messages of course continue to be revealed.

And now we know that Ron Johnson was texting with, uh, Donald Trump's attorney at the time, John Eastman, and Eastman, of course, was running the fake elector scheme. And Ron Johnson actually tried to write that off being like, Hey, listen, you know, you get a text from the president's lawyer, What am I gonna do? Ignore it. If he's asking you to break the law, yes, that is exactly what you would do, not to mention, my god, Donald Trump has had like a thousand lawyers, okay? Any text message you get from anybody, there's probably like a one in 100 chance they've served as a lawyer for Donald Trump at this point, but that doesn't excuse your actions here, Mr. Johnson. If anything, it makes you look even worse. But again, he's gotta change the story because the new text messages are coming out. The January 6th committee is about to do more hearings, more info is gonna come out, and Ron Johnson is probably gonna look pretty bad.

He is worried he wouldn't be changing his story if he wasn't worried that he was gonna go down for this scandal. And of course, he is in a very contentious reelection race where he does have a possibility of losing reelection up there in Wisconsin. That would be wonderful. In fact, for a long time he was losing the most recent poll show that race has gotten tighter. Johnson has pulled ahead by a few points, so it's a toss up, but maybe if the January 6th committee kind of speeds things up a little bit here, maybe we can get some more dirt on Johnson, just enough to expose him as the liar that he is before those wisconsinites head to the polls in November.
