Desperate Republican Candidates BEG Mike Pence For Help As Election Nears

Donald Trump always thought that he would end up being the savior of struggling Republican candidates in this year's midterm races, but as the election approaches, more and more troubled candidates are reaching out to Mike Pence to save them. They view Pence as a "neutralizing" figure that can calm some of the fears of rational voters who don't want to vote for extreme candidates. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening and why everyone thinks Pence can save them.

Donald Trump thought that he was going to be the Republican savior of the midterms, right? He thought he was gonna be the guy that everybody turned to, wanted everybody coming down to Mar Lago to kiss the ring and tell him how great he is, just so they could get his endorsement, because Trump thought that endorsement was all they would ever need. You get that endorsement, you're cruising into an easy victory, right? Well, it may have worked that way in the primaries, but here in the general election, a lot of people that Donald Trump has endorsed are not doing so well. So rather than reaching back out to Donald Trump and saying, Please come do a rally. Come reimburse me. Do something, send out a truth social post about me. They're not doing that. They're going to somebody else saying, Can you please come and bail my out?

And that somebody who these Republican candidates are turning to is none other than Mike Pence, the man who Donald Trump says, committed political suicide on January 6th. By not breaking the law, it's not Donald Trump that these candidates are running to it's pence. And Pence, for his part, has been doing a good job of answering the calls. Recently. He went out to Arizona to rally for Blake Masters. He officially endorsed him. He's out there raising money for him. He's done that in several other states. He's been to Georgia. Uh, where else did he go? He's, he's gone to New Hampshire, I believe. He's, he's gone all over the country. He's spent a lot of time, by the way, up in the Midwest as well, which is where he is from. He's campaigning, he's endorsing, but more importantly, he's raising millions of dollars and giving it to these struggling candidates, all of whom Donald Trump had endorsed.

But the problem with the Trump endorsement, of course, is that Trump endorses and leaves, right? It's kind of a love him and leave him situation, if we're being perfectly honest here. It's like a one night stand. He's gonna show up, he's gonna do his little thing. You're gonna leave a little disappointed, and then you're never gonna hear from him again. That's what Donald Trump does. Pence, he's the long term relationship guy, right? You call him. Maybe he's your rebound. Maybe you're thinking, Okay, I'm ready to, ready to love again. I'll give him a shot. And he does everything that a good political, you know, boyfriend should do. He endorses you. He supports you. He gets other people out there. He gives you money. But more importantly, these candidates understand that he gives them something Donald Trump never could. He gives them sanity. See, the Trump endorsement is good for the Trump base, but those are the only people swayed by it. The moderate Republicans and independents, they don't give a. In fact, a lot of them are actually turned off by the Trump endorsement. So what they need after they get the Trump

Endorsement is for a normal, non crazy human being to show up and show them that, Hey, listen, this person's not a wacko extremist. They're not out there saying that they're gonna overturn the election. Or, Oh, well, okay, well, I guess they did all say they wanted to overturn the election, but, uh, you know, locker room talk, they're, they're a normal person. They just wanna make sure that women don't have the right to choose what to do with their own bodies. They just wanna make sure that corporations don't ever have to pay taxes.
