4:12Now PlayingLindsey Graham went on Fox News this week to speak with host Jesse Watters, and Graham was clearly not prepared at all for what Watters wanted to discuss. Watters called out Graham for being a co-sponsor of the RESTRICT Act, and Graham had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. Graham was confused, agitated, and just generally unsure of what was going on throughout the entire segment, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham went on Jesse Water's Fox News program this week to talk about, well, Lindsey Graham didn't really know what they were gonna talk about, but Jesse Waters did. And Jesse Waters wanted to talk about a piece of legislation that Lindsey Graham co-sponsored that based on his reaction, Lindsey Graham knows absolutely nothing about. So here is this absolutely humiliating clip of Lindsey Graham, visibly confused, not knowing what the hell he is talking about with the bill. He himself co-sponsored. Take a look
Graham, who supports this and is here now you gotta be kidding me. Senator, did you read this?
Yeah, I don't think I support the restrict act.
You don't support this cuz you were named as one of the supporters cuz this is garbage.
Well, is this the one where John, there's two bills out there. One allows a review of businesses that, that are connected to China, give the secretary the ability to protect our data. Uh, is that the restrict act? ? We got S 6 86 right here. Yeah. March 7th.
Mm-hmm. And we got a bunch of Republicans supporting it because this thing is crazy town. You don't want the government looking into your private phone.
No, I don't.
If they have a hunch shared colluding with the Russians. We remember how that turned out.
That's right. Yeah. No, well the constitution trumps a statute. So let me come back and, uh, you know, give you a better explanation.
You know, this is the only time I'm probably ever gonna say this, but kudos to Jesse Waters for calling out Lindsay Graham on this and being like, dude, your name is, is audit. We can look in the congressional record when the bills are submitted and see who is the sponsors, the co-sponsors. Your name is here, and Lindsay Graham's like, well, I don't know, maybe I, I'll I'll look into it and get back to you. To which by the way, Jesse Waters, we didn't have it in that clip, but after Graham said that, Jesse Waters goes, yeah, get back with me because you co-sponsored it two days ago, Senator. So Jesse Waters like totally wasn't having it. And yeah, it's kind of obvious that Lindsay Graham was caught off guard. I don't know if it was pretending to be dumb or if Lindsay Graham is just genuinely that stupid.
I'd know he is evil, but I never really thought he was just, you know, dumb as rocks, having no idea what his name's on, doesn't know what's in the bills that his name is on. Starts rambling like an idiot about a different bill. Not even related to the one that Jesse Waters is talking about. We're talking about the Restrict Act Senator. I mean it's, it's been all over the news and you don't even know what's in it even though your name is on it. So not only this is the best part, not only did Lindsay Graham not read the bill that his name is on, but he also apparently has been watching, watching any news at all. Because if you've turned on the news, especially Fox News, which we know Lindsay Graham watches, they've been talking about the restrict Act nonstop. And yes, it is a horrible piece of legislation that would give the federal government unprecedented powers to access your internet search history. It's terrifying. It's way beyond just banning TikTok. A as waters points out, TikTok is not even mentioned in it.
