Yesterday, Republican South Carolina, Senator Tim Scott, officially announced that he was running for president, but he wasn't really able to make the sales pitch that he was hoping to make in front of all those voters. Gathered to hear his announcement, because call it technical difficulties, call it an act of God, his microphone and his backup microphone and the backup to the backup microphone all stopped working while Scott was making his big life-changing career altering announcement. Here's the video. Let's take a look at what happened.
My wash that will work. I cannot stand by. While this is done to America, she's done too much for me. Our nation, our values, and our people are strong, but our president is weak. America is not a nation.
All right? He was having some technical difficulties. And this is Senator Tim Scott in the middle of announcing that he is running, this is his announcement speech, and he's looking for a live microphone right now. We weren't sure if it was happening here in the studio. Um, we just heard no sound for a while.
So this is like the biggest announcement that this man has ever made in his life. Hell, it's one of the biggest announcements any person can ever make in their life. I'm going to run for president and then,
Oh, I'm sorry. Is this thing all like, wow. You know, conservatives love to claim to be the party of God. And you know, the God tells us what to do. We listen to what God says. Now listen, if you're that kind of person, sure, but if you're that kind of person, you have to look at situations like that and you gotta think at least a little bit to yourself that you know what? Maybe that's a sign. Maybe God who I believe interferes in everything. Maybe he's trying to tell us that, Hey, wait a minute, Tim, this, this ain't it. I'm the big guy in the sky. I'm gonna cut you off because this is just painful to watch. Now, as I said, it was not just his regular mic that he was holding. He also had on a lapel mic that also cut out.
They gave him the third microphone. That didn't work. I mean, you know, yeah, technical difficulties exist. We've having 'em at Ring of Fire plenty of times. But, uh, I do kind of think that maybe there was a higher power stepping in to be like, yeah, we're not e we're not even gonna do this, we're totally not doing this today. Shut up. We don't want to hear your announcement. But of course, they got the microphone situation figured out. God was like, all right, I'm gonna let you just do whatever it is you're gonna do. And he went on and, and he, when he got the microphone working, he said, let, let's see if this one works. All right. But under Joe Biden, our nation is not a nation in decline, but under Joe Biden, we have become a nation in retreat.
And for the part before the microphone started cutting out, he talked about, ah, everything is bad because of Biden. Everything is horrible. This country sucks. Everything's going to hell. Donald Trump, of course, recently on Truth Social, has said multiple times in just the last five days, the country's going to hell because that's what Republicans think. Now, they don't have any solutions to fix any of this because Tim Scott did not lay out a single solution to a single problem facing this country. All he said was that everything sucks. Everything's terrible. Uh, so you gotta vote for me. Yeah, but why? How are you gonna make it not terrible? See, that's the part Republicans always forget that they have to tell people they love going out there and telling you that everything sucks.
