Following a three-day trial last week that never should have happened to begin with, a judge ruled against Kari Lake's claims that signature verification problems in Maricopa County cost her the Arizona's governor's race in 2022. This should put an end to Lake's challenges, but she is likely to appeal anyway. Lake has become an even bigger loser than Donald Trump, and she might actually be the biggest loser in the entire Republican Party right now, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

I think we all know at this point that Donald Trump is a massive loser, right? He lost the popular vote in 2016, lost the popular vote, and the electoral college vote in 2020. He lost the house in 2018. He lost the Senate for Republicans in 2020. He, uh, helped Republicans not make the big gains they were gonna make in the midterms in 2022. So he is a perennial loser. But I offer today an example of a person that is an even bigger loser than Donald Trump. And that person, of course, is Carrie Lake this week after a three day trial last week, that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Carrie Lake once again had her claims of election interference or bad signatures in 2022, had it thrown out by a judge who had already thrown it out months ago, but was told by the Supreme Court to think about rehearing the case.

And so the judge did. And then the judge once again said, yeah, you've proven nothing. You've done absolutely nothing. All the claims you've made can be easily refuted with actual facts of what really happened. So a few of the things that, uh, uh, loser Carrie Lake had tried to argue in her court case was that the workers doing the signature verification, which was the only issue she was allowed to bring in this particular case here, um, they didn't spend enough time on each signature. Like she said, we've got videos where they're only spending like one or two seconds on a signature. And the judge said, cool, that doesn't matter, because if you look at a signature and you have the other verification right there, it should only take you that long to be able to say yes. Because they didn't only spend two seconds on most of the signatures.

By the way, the judge then had to point out that, by the way, there is no set length of time that each individual has to spend on each signature. It's not set in stone that says you have to look at it for five full seconds, and then you're allowed to move on, Carrie. So you're bringing up claims that have no basis in the law. So the judge really had no choice. So Carrie Lake, once again for the fourth, fifth, sixth time, I don't even know what it is at this point, lost her election challenge, which means she lost the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial race again. And she's not done like she. She says she's going to exhaust every, you know, legis, uh, uh, uh, legal effort to continue doing this. And of course she's gonna do that because she has to. You know, as I've repeatedly said, you know, all the way back in December, if Carrie Lake doesn't continue to challenge these election results, even as she faces, faces, sanctions, her lawyers got sanctioned last month. But if she doesn't keep doing it,

She becomes irrelevant in the Republican party and becoming irrelevant in the Republican party. Hell becoming irrelevant in politics is something that is very difficult to come back from. I mean, Jeb Bush, that was his problem, right? He disappeared for eight years, then finally decided, all right, I'm gonna come back. And that didn't go well for him. Chris Christie is trying to do the same thing right now. It's not working out very well for him. We have seen other Republicans and Democrats attempt to come back from seemingly disappearing for a decade, being like, Hey, I'm here again. And everybody's like, no, you, you, we don't like you anymore. We forgot you existed. Carrie Lake risked the same thing.
