4:34Now PlayingReports from the past two weeks have proven that Donald Trump's team of lawyers is completely falling apart. With the departure of Tim Parlatore and the possible cooperation of Evan Corcoran with investigators, the lawyers in charge of Trump's fate are having a hard time getting it together behind the scenes, which means they won't be able to craft a good defense for the former president. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

It's very likely that by the end of the summer, right, and I mean like the season of summer, by the time we hit the end and we turn the page into fall, it is likely that Donald Trump will have been indicted in both Georgia and most likely some indictments will have been handed down by the Department of Justice against Donald Trump. And of course, we all know he's already been indicted in Manhattan. He has trials still upcoming defamation trials. He's got the trial from the New York Attorney General. Lots of bad things happening for Donald Trump. But I have to say that of out of all of Donald Trump's legal problems, the worst one that he is facing is that his legal team is completely falling apart. Donald Trump right now does not have a functioning legal team. He's got a couple people there. People like Alina Haba, whose only interest in acting as a lawyer for Donald Trump is to put their face on TV and become famous.
You've got other people like Joe Taina who were touted as these powerhouse lawyers that have handled high profile cases. I know because I've said that about these folks. And then they immediately fell apart under pressure and performed worse in the trial than I think we've ever seen from any Trump lawyer. But then you have the real crap show happening behind the scenes, and that is the crap show that is just now beginning to be exposed. Now part of it was exposed by recently departed former Trump lawyer, Tim Parlet. Tori Parlet. Tori told us in the media that it's Boris Epstein, you know, one of Donald Trump's longest serving lawyers was with him through the campaigns. This man is acting as basically the gatekeeper between the legal team and Donald Trump. He is filtering things to Trump, probably not being honest with Trump, and then turning around.
And according to Parlet, Tori's, uh, you know, suggestion, probably not being honest with the other lawyers. And then last week, of course, we got information about the fact that Trump's other lawyers, including Jim, trustee and Evan Corcoran and a couple others were at dinner about a year or so ago where they were openly saying the exact same things that Par La Tori said on CNN a couple weeks ago. So definitely got some confirmation of that, that Epstein is basically hamstringing the entire Trump legal team. We also know that Evan Corcoran himself has had all of his very detailed notes turned over to the doj. He's had to tell them that, yeah, other Trump people forbade me from going and looking for more documents. And he may have evidence of obstruction, hell, he may be the evidence of obstruction. So there's that. Then of course, you have the report saying that Donald Trump's legal team is now living in a state of constant paranoia where they believe each other could be a mole
Or a rat selling them out to the Department of Justice. Which is weird because obviously that means y'all are worried that somebody's gonna tell the DOJ something about you that could result in you getting in trouble, which is a good indi indicator that you've probably done something that warrants you getting in trouble. But that's the Trump legal team right now. And honest to God, that's the Trump legal team from just the last like three weeks. Folks, they are completely falling apart. They do not trust each other. They do not wanna work with each other. And these are the people that Donald Trump has placed his fate in their hands and they're falling apart.
