Trump Invents Fake Law To Justify Stealing Classified Documents

Donald Trump told a crowd at the Turning Points USA conference this past weekend that a law was signed that allows the President of the United States to take anything they want with them when they leave office, and he said that the law couldn't be more "clear." Unfortunately for Donald, there is no such law that exists anywhere in the United States - he simply made it up and is using that to justify his actions. During his speech at this past weekend's, uh, turning Points conference down here in Florida, Donald Trump, in a desperate attempt to make it seem like he totally didn't break the law in the documents case actually invented a new federal law that he swears is totally real, but unfortunately for him does not actually exist. And he used this non-existent federal law to basically say that I didn't break the law. And unfortunately in his defense of breaking the law, he's admitting that he totally broke the law. Let me read you what this moron said. Whatever documents a president decides to take with him, he has the absolute and unquestioned right to do so. This was a law that was passed in, signed, and it couldn't be more clear.

It's not a law that was passed. It's not a law that was signed. And the only thing clear about this is that you literally just admitted to doing it. And you didn't even realize that, did you? In fact, all the articles I read about this also didn't acknowledge the fact that what Trump just did was literally admit to a federal crime. He just admitted to it. I mean, he's admitted to it before. Don't get me wrong. He has totally said yes, I took them because I have the right to do that. But every word this man said at that Turning point conference is going to be used against him in the trial. Especially. It's gonna be fun when the prosecutors put him up on the stand and were like, Hey, so you, you told this crowd? Like let's play the clip. Cuz they can introduce the video of it as evidence.

They say, you know, let's play this clip. This would be fun, let's play it. And then they're gonna say, okay, so you said this law was passed and you said that that law being passed is the reason you took the documents. So you admitted you took the documents, but could you tell us what the law is? Because if that law is real, maybe we ought not be prosecuting you. Maybe we can all leave early and go get lunch together and just laugh about it. Right? And Trump's gonna sit there stuttering and stammering unable to answer the question, then having to admit that, yes, he lied. While also unfortunately for him admitting that, yes, I did take the documents, which let's be real here. That's pretty much case closed. If this was a normal case with a normal judge in a normal jurisdiction in a Trump jurisdiction, you're gonna have a Trump jury.

You got a Trump judge, that's not gonna be case closed. In normal circumstances, that 100% would be though. But that's what's funny about this. Donald Trump's lawyers and I, I've talked about this repeatedly, they hate every time he goes out there and gives a speech they hate every time he goes out there in the media, they hate anytime he does a rally because what he does is he creates more headaches for them. And this is a big headache. This was a very stupid thing for Donald Trump to say, not only because it's not true, but because it is literally another admission from him that he did take the documents and by God he'd do it again if given the chance.
