Trump In Absolute Panic As Special Prosecutor Tells Him He's A "Target"

Donald Trump revealed yesterday in a panicked post on truth social, that he has officially received a target letter from Special Prosecutor Jack Smith, requesting that he show up, I guess in front of the grand jury within four days. Now, Trump announced this on Tuesday morning. Um, the letter was apparently sent on Sunday. So technically, if he only had four days to show up, that I guess means today or tomorrow, Donald Trump would have to show up in front of that grand jury where he would likely end up being indicted. That is of course, what legal experts say. This target letter means. It means that, hey, not only are we looking at you, but we're about to get you and requesting that he show up to the grand jury. If in fact that is in the letter as Trump claims, that means that that would typically be where they would go ahead and issue the indictments and possibly perform the actual arrest.

Now, as is the case with the other indictments that Donald Trump has suffered, he typically Trump does, makes these announcements within a few days afterwards. He does end up getting indicted, and in the meantime between his announcement and of course, when he gets indicted, his team typically works out when he is going to surrender, where he's going to surrender all of that hoopla. So that could be what's happening right now. Of course, we do not have confirmation of any of that. The only thing we do have confirmation of, according to the New York Times, is that they have corroborated the fact that the target letter was in fact sent. Now, the other part of it, we technically do not know which charges Donald Trump could be facing. Obviously, it's likely that all of this is related to his attempts to overturn the 2020 election results and the fake slate of electors that they tried to send to Congress, which of course, experts, again say would be conspiracy to defraud the United States government along with, uh, impeding an official proceeding and everything that goes along with that.

So that's where we're at right now. But let me read you part of Donald Trump's very panicked post on truth, social deranged. Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Biden's, D O j, sent a letter. Again, it was Sunday night, stating that I am a target of the January 6th grand jury investigation and giving me a very short four days to report to the grand jury, which almost always means an arrest, an indictment. Now, the day before Donald Trump sent, uh, allegedly got this target letter, he was in front of the turning point U s a action conference down in Florida where he actually told the crowd that every time they indict me, I consider it a patch of honor.

And then the next day he basically gets a letter saying, Hey, we're gonna indict you again. And he's absolutely panicked and honestly he should be because this is the big one, right? You got, uh, plenty of Republicans and even some moderates out there who don't understand the Manhattan indictments, right? Is financials, is it, is it tax fraud? Is it campaign finance fraud? Why does it go? They don't understand it, so they think it's no big deal. The documents thing that he was indicted for, A lot of Republicans seem to think, well, Pence did it. Biden did it, Clinton did it. They buy into Donald Trump's conspiracies that everybody does it, and he's the only one who gets in trouble for it. So they wrote that one off. They're gonna have a harder time writing this one off. This is the one that is basically going to be, you tried to steal the election.
