Panicked Trump Demands Indictments Be Immediately Dropped Because He Says So

Donald Trump appears to be under the impression that if he wishes hard enough, he can make the indictments in Georgia go away. Trump demanded on Truth Social that prosecutors "DROP THE FAKE CASE" against him, and he pulled out a new, and completely idiotic, defense to try to make his case. But his new talking points are absolute gibberish that won't help anything, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Well, folks, Donald Trump isn't panicking whatsoever about these Georgia indictments. Oh, no, he's, he's only spent the week wetting his pants because, you know, other things are going on, you know, like Fox News, using pictures of him that show his chin from an unflattering angle that bothered him on Thursday morning. But later in the day on Thursday, Donald Trump decided to have a mini meltdown on truth social about the indictments in Georgia. And here is what he said. Big news, Mike Pence said, I met with the parliamentarian of the Senate, Elizabeth McDonough, to discuss the procedures for the upcoming joint session on January 6th. She told me that Congress always receives miscellaneous slates of electors every four years. Greg Kelly, that's huge. I know why he's addressing it to Greg Kelly from newsmax, a game changer in, in terms of information, it really turns upside down. Everything the Democrats said about January 6th and this latest federal indictment drop the fake case. He ends in all caps with an exclamation point. Drop the fake case because Mike Pence one time talked to the Senate parliamentarian, who said, sometimes fake electors or alternate slates are presented, which has nothing to do with anything like that. Doesn't change the facts of your case whatsoever, you were asking a state to throw out legitimate votes. You were asking a state to throw out the legitimate electors and put up electors and send them to DC for a candidate who didn't win. You directly interfered with the election process in Georgia. It doesn't matter that Mike Pence talked to somebody. This is how desperate and stupid Donald Trump is getting. And I gotta tell you, if he's gonna walk into court and make his lawyers say stupid stuff like that, this case is over with. Within a week. Like this is the dumbest possible defense, and it shows that it might be the only defense Donald Trump has. He has nothing. There are no excuses for what took place. There are no reasons for him to do the things that he did. Some of those 18 other co-conspirators are going to end up flipping on him, maybe even because they can't afford a lawyer to represent them, to fight the charges, and they need to make a deal. And if this is the only defense he has that will, I heard one time Mike Pence like talked to this woman, and this woman was like, yeah, sometimes other things happen. Best of luck. Go ahead and get your orange jumpsuit because you're gonna be on the side of the road in Georgia picking up garbage for the next 20 years.

This man is absolutely beyond pathetic. But the bigger problem, as always, is not the fact that Donald Trump makes these outrageous claims drop

The fake case. The problem is that his little story about Mike Pence, all of his supporters on truth social, are gonna see that and be like, oh, wow. Yeah, he's right. Obviously he didn't commit a crime. He says, this is what happened. So I have no choice Being a loyal little cult member, I now have to believe that this is reality. Millions of people across this country see these idiotic posts and they say, oh, I guess that's the truth. Now, that's the real problem, getting those people deprogrammed, because once Trump is locked away, assuming that happens, of course these people are gonna go totally bonkers throughout this country.
