Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz made quite a shocking revelation about the Republican party's attempt to impeach Joe Biden this week. According to Matt Gaetz, the reason for impeaching Biden, as I'm sure everybody's probably aware, is not because we're gonna convict him. No. The whole reason is to tarnish his image in the eyes of the American public. I mean, come on folks. Let's be honest here. Here is what Matt Gaetz said. This was during a live Twitter, uh, question and answer session. The purpose of that impeachment from my standpoint is not to force a vote that loses it's to put on a trial in the Senate. And by the way, not for the sake of conviction, the purpose of the impeachment to me is to use the Senate as the stage. But they're not the jury. The jury is the American people. And if we had the Senate as the stage and the platform for James Comer to put on his evidence in advance this impeachment, it will not result in in a conviction. But the true verdict will still be rendered by the American people.

In other words, we wanna put him on trial so the American public can think that he's done bad things. We know we can't prove he did bad things, but we want the public to think that he may have and then they'll vote against him in 2024. Bob's your uncle, we win the election. Uh, you know, I think it's funny how Republicans are out there every day talking about the fact that they believe Donald Trump is somehow being politically targeted because he is Biden's big Biden's biggest challenge in the 2024 election. And Matt Gaetz is literally out there telling us like, Hey, we are going to engage in a political persecution to try to hurt his chances of winning in 2024. That is what Matt Gaetz just admitted to. I don't know if he did it because he's just so honest he can't help himself or if he's a big giant moron.

But either way, that's essentially what he told us. And I do like how he's like from my standpoint. So he is not saying all Republicans feel this way. That's just how he feels. Now it's important to remember that a year ago, one year ago, Matt Gaetz was out there, poo-pooing, Marjorie Taylor Greene's idea of impeaching President Biden at the time, Matt Gaetz said We shouldn't use impeachment as a political weapon because if we do it, then they do it, then we do it again, and it just becomes a nonstop back and forth. A year ago, Matt Gaetz was actually talking since about the issue, and now he's thrown all sense out the window and says, screw it. Let's just do this as a political persecution. 'cause it's the only way we can beat President Biden. That is what Matt Gaetz is telling the world, and I kind of feel like this ought to be bigger news, right? He is admitting that any attempt to impeach President Biden

Is a complete and total sham, and the country just kind of collectively yawns and says, eh, what else you got? No, this is big.
