Matt Gaetz Calls LGBTQ People 'Degenerates' While Pushing Prayer In Schools Legislation

While pushing his new legislation that would force public school teachers to provide time each day for prayer, Matt Gaetz called the LGBTQ community "degenerates." The existence of these human beings had no relation whatsoever to his unconstitutional legislation, but he decided to make the harmful comment anyway to deflect from the fact that he is more of a threat to young children than LGBTQ people. Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz, has put forth a new piece of legislation that would require schools, public school teachers to provide time each day, possibly in every class for students to have quiet reflection, time for them to pray. So it's uh, uh, basically the National Prayer in School Act to say the teachers have to give students time to pray in the classroom. Now, first and foremost, this act is a little bit redundant 'cause it's already been determined that, uh, students are in fact allowed to pray in school. Now, they can't do it at a time when it disrupts school activities. Like if the teacher's passing out tests, the student can't get up and be like, Hey, I have to pray right now loudly in front of everybody. The teacher can be like, actually, no. You sit quietly. Your desk can play, but you pray, but you cannot, uh, you know, do it to where it disrupts my teaching.

Uh, but they do, by the way, already allow students the time to pray if students pray. So this piece of legislation right off the bat is 100% unnecessary. The only reason Matt Gaetz even put put it forward is so that he can appeal to the deeply religious, phony religious, uh, people in his district. Trust me, I live here. I've lived here, like I say, a lot longer than Mag Gates. Oh, we got a lot of church. You got a church on every corner in this town, and they're always packed to the brimm every Sunday. But let me tell you, after living around these people for four decades, interacting with them on a regular basis, there ain't nothing religious about any of 'em. These are some of the biggest a-holes I have ever seen in my entire life. I know everybody says like, oh, it's that southern hospitality.

These people that live here are horrible. They're Abso and I'm not just talking about this district, I'm talking about the whole Bible belt. They're the most phony, fake, horrible, racist people you could imagine. Again, that's like the whole Bible belt. I'm not singling out this area. We've got some good people in this area too, don't get me wrong. But it's those phony people who wrap themselves in the Bible every week. They're usually the worst ones. But anyway, Matt Gaetz is pandering to those people and, uh, at the same time, dehumanizing another group of people because in announcing his legislation, Matt Gaetz had this to say, God's reach does not stop at the schoolhouse gates. Our country's education policy forbids students and faculty from praying while endlessly promoting degenerate L G B T and anti-white propaganda. My legislation unlocks religious freedom once again, so that in every classroom in America, there will be time for students to pray if they choose nothing that he said is true.
