Chaos reined early Wednesday morning on Twitter (now called X) after Donald Trump, Jr. announced on the platform that his father had passed away. The post was then deleted and it was revealed that Junior had his account hacked, There was a mix of celebration and tears in the few moments that the post was still visible, showcasing the gulf between Trump's supporters and normal people. Donald J. Trump, the 45th president of the United States has passed away, or at least that's what Donald Trump Jr. Posted on social media platform X on Wednesday morning, or at least that's what his account posted. Turns out much to a lot of people's disappointment, his account was hacked. And no, Donald J. Trump, the former president is, as far as we know, still alive, still out there facing 91 felony counts. But, uh, he's, he's seems to be okay. Donald Trump Jr's Twitter account was of course, hacked on Wednesday. And, uh, it sent out a lot of very weird posts, of course, trying to make junior look bad, the first being, here it is. I'm just gonna read it. I'm sad to announce my father, Donald Trump has passed away. I will be running for president in 2024. Um, that post had several hundred thousand views. People in the comments were, some were celebrating, some were, you know, horrified that this kind of thing could happen to a human being, but it turns out it was not real at all.

But some of the other posts equally funny, um, one of them said some interesting messages with Jeffrey Epstein. My dad owns you, Elon Musk, bum. Um, then some more profane things about President Biden. Uh, also this just in North Korea's about to get smoked, he said. But again, all of this was not real. Junior's account had in fact been hacked and, all of these messages were by some clever or perhaps not so clever individual pretending to be junior. Um, it really does speak volumes though, to the safety and security of Twitter, or now X, but it's always gonna be Twitter. Uh, Elon Musk is clearly doing a bang up job, making sure that he's got a safe and secure platform to where even the former president's son can't secure his account. Yeah, that, that kind of seems like a problem. I mean, announcing that the former president had died is actually the kind of news that could, again, cause people to go a little crazy, could perhaps even tank the stock market. And I'm not kidding, like the death of a, you know, world leader does affect the stock market. So, Elon, you really gotta start doing a better job here, man, because you could cause this nation to descend into absolute chaos by not doing enough to protect the side against hacks like this. If another high profile person were to get hacked, I mean, what's to stop them from getting into President Biden's Twitter account or the Twitter account of any other world leader and posting

Things that could, I don't know, maybe even start a war? Who knows? But this is again, less of a story about, uh, Trump Jr. And his hacking as much as it is about Elon Musk and the fact that Twitter is very quickly and very visibly going straight to hell.
