Cops Say Ramaswamy Is LYING About Protestors Ramming His Car

Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign claims that a protestor rammed their car into his car during a recent event in Iowa. Republican presidential candidate, Vivek Rema Swami was viciously attacked in a hit and run attack by a protestor the other day in Iowa. Or at least if you believe the story from his campaign. That is totally what happened. Now, if you listen to the police officers, that's not even close to reality, but Vikk Sami's campaign and Rema Swami himself came out and claimed that a couple days ago in Iowa, they, uh, they had some protesters there who were unhappy. They said about his statement that, Hey, we're not gonna give you Crane any aid. And those protestors became irate. The campaign says these protestors began screaming profanities, flipping them off, giving them the middle finger, and then one of them got in her car, rammed Ramis swami's car, and then fled the seam speeding off.

That is what campaign spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told the Associated Press, and she says she stands by her story, Ramas Swami put on social media that, hey, you know, a lot of the protesters were good, but you know, we did have the one that rammed our car and then sped off. And then of course, he sent out a fundraising email describing the incident and said, stand up for free speech. Give me money 'cause my car just got hit. But again, the police say, Nope, that's not at all what happened. Here's what really happened. According to the actual police report, a woman at a nearby deli who was actually not even there as a protester, she was simply there having lunch backed out of her parking spot, accidentally hit Ramma Swami's vehicle minor, you know, damage to both vehicles. Uh, she called the cops like she called the cops.

And that's actually something you can verify by the way, rum Swami's campaign. And the cop showed up, gave her a ticket for, you know, um, what was it, uh, uh, whatever backing, like backing out wrong or something. I, I don't remember the charge. But anyway, she got a ticket, but she didn't flee the scene as Rama Swami's campaign said. She wasn't an irate protester, she just a woman grabbing lunch. But that didn't stop this narrative from going out there around the world before the police could even come out and try to correct the record. And the police are very clear. Ramas Swami and his campaign are lying about what happened. And now, as I mentioned, the fundraising email, they're trying to capitalize off that lie. Now, this woman's name has not been released publicly, which is good because if it ever does get released publicly, then she should 100% sue these people for defamation. And I'm talking millions of dollars because the police report itself, her call to the police disprove their story that she fled the scene and they're making money off of this
