An angry and desperate Donald Trump took to Truth Social this week to beg for intervention in the ongoing fraud trial that he's involved in. Trump went as far as to beg New York's Democratic governor Kathy Hochul to intervene while also saying that Michael Cohen "lied like a dog" on the stand. But not only did Cohen NOT exonerate Trump, the governor would be abusing her power if she were to get involved. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Donald Trump is so fed up with the fraud trial taking place in New York, that he is now imploring a higher power to step in, intervene, and put an end to this madness. But that higher power is of course not the man upstairs. That higher power happens to be the woman in the mansion, specifically Kath Hle, the Democratic governor of New York, who sits in the governor's mansion in New York. Donald Trump begged her on true social this week to intervene and make it all go away, as if that is something that the democratic governor of New York would ever want to wade into. Here is what Donald Trump posted on truth social. The New York State Attorney General's case against me is dead. But the radical left judge refuses to end it. He just can't let it go. It's like the judge is obsessed with it, right? like, that's the only reason we're doing this. It's 'cause the judge is just so obsessed, and I mean, it's over. It's not over, man. It's supposed to go through December. And let's not overlook the fact, because I feel like this is very pertinent to what you're saying. You guilt has already been determined.

Your guilt has been determined. That is already a ruling. The judge handed down, the judge already said before the trial started, you did it. You don't get out of that. Like there is literally nothing anyone can do to stop that. It already happened. Trump continues. Sorry, I got a little heated there. He says their star witness lied like a dog on the stand today and then admitted that I did nothing wrong. A total sleaze bag. Yes, you are. Um, here's the thing. He was referring to Michael Cohen, and that is actually not at all what happened with Michael Cohen's testimony. What happened with Michael Cohen's testimony is that he said that Donald Trump never explicitly said, inflate these numbers to lie to these people. Okay? They were never explicit instructions. It was an understood agreement. Trump, as Cohen explained, would write a number down on a piece of paper, but that was supposed to be the final number.

And then Cohen and Weisselberg, as Cohen testified, would have to go back through all the other numbers and inflate them enough, not enough to raise alarm bells, but adjust each one just enough to where they could get to that final number that Donald Trump wrote down. He never explicitly told them to do it. It was more as Cohen explained, kind of like a mafiaa boss, a wink, and a nod. You don't say it out loud, but you know this is what you're supposed to do. So Cohen did not lie like a dog. And Trump is a total sleazebag, but he's not done. He hasn't yet begged for help. Here it is.

Businesses are watching all over the world and never coming in, only moving out. The governor should get involved. Election interference by my political opponent. Yeah. And what would it be if the governor did get involved? That's not election interference on your behalf. The governor has no jurisdiction in this. If the governor were to insert herself into this lawsuit, it would be political interference. Like you don't want that to happen. And, and this claim that Trump always makes, these businesses are leaving you. A businesses are leaving. Oh God, it's terrible. Listen, businesses aren't leaving. Do you know who's leaving? Wall Street firms. Do you know why they're leaving? Because they're going to states that do not have an income tax. Like Florida, like, we don't have a state income tax here.
