YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe Republican Party has a lot at stake in 2024, and if their fundraising is any indication, they are going to have a very sad year. A new report says that not only have the big Republican donors been stingy with their money this year, but also that the small-money donors aren't able to give like they had in the past. Add in the fact that you have a historically unpopular fascist at the top of your ticket, and the Republicans could be in for the worst year ever. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

According to a major new report from the Washington Post, the Republican National Committee, the RNC, the Republican Party itself is suffering from a very serious financial problem. Like most American families, this time of year, money has become a very significant cause for worry among the Republican party because they simply don't have enough of it. According to their most recent financial reports, the Republican party is currently sitting on $9.1 million cash on hand as of October 30th of this year. At the same time, the DNC is sitting on a little more than $17 million cash on hand as we head into an election year, meaning Democrats are out raising Republicans almost two to one. And the problem that the Republican party has is not just that their big money donors aren't cutting checks the way they used to. No, it's not just the big money people according to reports from within the Republican party, they're actually suffering on the small donor level as well.
The rich people don't want to give them money. The middle income and low income people don't want to give them money. Basically, nobody right now wants to give the Republican Party any money. Here is what one RNC member, this is Tennessee, RNC member Oscar Brock. This is what he had to say to the Washington Post. It's a revenue problem. We're we're going through the same efforts we always go through to raise money. The same donor meetings, retreats, digital advertising, direct mail, but the return is much lower this year, if you know the answer, I'd love to know it. The staff has managed to tighten down on expenses to keep the party from going into the red. Oh, oh, you wanna know what the problem is? You don't know what the problem is because I'll be more than happy to tell you what the problem is.
It's actually very simple and it's actually right in front of your face. It's that your party sucks and they don't know what they're doing. And yes, honest to God, it is that simple. The Republican Party has not done a single thing at all this year since retaking the House of Representatives for the American public, not one thing. And to be perfectly honest with you, on the big donor front, y'all haven't even done anything shockingly to benefit the corporations and the billionaires like you have somehow managed to do so little that you're not even doing the most basic of Republican things, which is giving corporations and the wealthy something to, to give you money for. Like that's how bad this modern incarnation of the Republican Party is. You know, we can always count on them screwing over middle class people, low income Americans. That's what Republicans have done my entire life. But at the same time that they screw us over, they're still given, you know, handouts to the wealthy. They're given the wealthy, something to hold onto something tangible, putting
More money in their pockets. But they haven't even done that this year. Like they have failed everybody across the board. And I have never seen this with the Republican Party in my life. Now that's only part of your problem. The second party of your problem is that you're a party filled with Wackadoos that nobody wants to give money to.
