During an appearance on CNN, Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer whined about Hunter Biden being indicted for tax fraud and claimed that this was all part of a large coverup. As we all know, hunter Biden was indicted late last week on tax fraud charges. He had not allegedly, according to the indictment, paid taxes for the years 2016 through, I think about 2019, a couple million dollars, by the way worth of taxes. So these are very serious felony charges against him. And I gotta tell you, Republicans are not happy. No Republicans are furious that Hunter Biden is actually being held accountable. Can you imagine anyone wanting to pick on poor Hunter Biden? Now these Republicans have to come to his defense. It's so terrible that he's being indicted. Um, and if that sounds a little topsy-turvy, it's because it is. Republicans are the ones who have spent several years now trying to tell us that Hunter Biden is some kind of criminal mastermind like on the level of John Gotti. But now that he's been indicted by a Trump appointed prosecutor who republicans demanded become a special prosecutor. So the DOJ said, fine, we'll make him a special prosecutor. Republicans literally got everything they wanted, and now they're off about it. And James Comer, the Republican chair of the House Oversight Committee, appeared on Jake Tapper's program on CNN on Friday to talk about how horrible it is that Hunter Biden has been indicted. Because as Comer says, these aren't real indictments. This is all somehow part of a cover up. Listen to James Comer in his own words.
