Man Attacked During Live Fox News Segment Wasn't Actually A Migrant Or A Shoplifter

More information has been released from the NYPD about the man that was attacked by the group called Guardian Angels during a live interview on Sean Hannity's Fox News program this week. The Angles claimed that the man was a migrant and that he had been shoplifting, but it turns out he's just a resident of the Bronx that had annoyed them before the segment began. The NYPD also said that there's no evidence to support the shoplifting claims, so this looks like it may have just been an assault. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

The NYPD has released information regarding the individual, the so-called Migrant Shoplifter that was assaulted on a live TV segment that aired on Fox News during Sean Hannity's program this week. Now, I had talked about this yesterday. I showed the clip yesterday. If you wanna see all that, feel free to go back and watch that video. But just a recap of what happened. Curtis Lewa, the leader, founder of this group called Guardian Angels in New York City. Um, he was given an interview to Sean Hannity, and during that time, the other angels that were around him originally in the shot took off and like jumped a guy, you know, basically, you know, restrained him, took him to the ground. Uh, Sliwa later on said he had some pain compliance, and he was sucking concrete. Um, so they roughed him up pretty good, according to Sli W's own words. And the camera panned over. You could see that they were attacking this man. And Sliwa later, later came back in the program and said that it was because he, you know, was a migrant who was shoplifting. And by God, they're gonna take out these migrants. According to the NYPD. This man was neither a shoplifter nor a migrant. He's just a dude who lives in the Bronx.

That's it. Like, that's the story. These so-called Guardian angels picked this man because as Sliwa later said, he was speaking Spanish. So of course they thought he was a migrant. No, no American citizen would speak Spanish, right? How insane would that be? And they kind of just, I guess, made up the shoplifting accusations. But Sliva said, no, no, no. There were people in the crowd, you know, they, they were saying he was shoplifting, really? Because we can look at the live shot. Nobody was saying that everybody on the street was just going about their day peacefully. Nothing bad was happening. The only horrible thing taking place on the streets of New York where you were, is what your people were doing to that man. That man who by the way, is probably gonna sue your into oblivion. And I hope to God that he does. Here's what happened. Oh, there is more to this story, folks. Let me read you this. This is from the NYPD officers. Were informed that the male had repeatedly attempted to interfere and disrupt a live television interview. He was acting in a loud, disorderly, and threatening manner. So maybe there is a chance that this individual was trying to be one of those funny people on the street. When you see the news reporters like, ah, come on tv. And for that, the angels jumped him. That's it. Like that's the story. Now, the New York Police Department did not respond to requests from the Associated Press as to whether or not the angels were under investigation for assault. But at this point, I mean, they worked so closely with the police. The

Police aren't gonna hold them accountable. They're basically some of their own. So the only option left is for this man to one sue for defamation, right? This was done on live tv. The damage that this man has suffered reputationally is gonna be off the frigging charts. Two, sue for the physical assault. So that's two potential lawsuits that this man has. I hope he files 'em both, and I hope he files them immediately.
