3:50Now PlayingAn unnamed adviser to Donald Trump has informed the Washington Post that they have been connecting with CEOs and billionaires that haven’t endorsed Trump to let them know that “the clock is ticking.” This could be a signal that Trump is preparing to retaliate against any business leaders that did not endorse him in this cycle, should he win next week’s election. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

In an interview published this week with the Washington Post, an unnamed Trump advisor says that, uh, these billionaires, these CEOs across the country, those ones who of course have not endorsed Donald Trump, yet those who are sitting on the sidelines, well, you better get your act together. 'cause as this advisor to Trump says, the clock is ticking and they're watching, here is the exact quote from this Trump advisor, I've told CEOs to engage as fast as possible because the clock is ticking. If you're somebody who has endorsed Harris and we've never heard from you at any point until after the election, you've got an uphill battle.
Sounds like a threat. I mean, I don't, I don't know how you read that other than as a threat. The question is, what's the threat? Right? The clock is ticking. For those of you that have not taken a side, if you endorsed Harris or if you stay silent till after the election, ooh, that's not gonna be good for you. You've got an uphill battle this advisor says. Now we have seen Donald Trump come out there and threaten pretty much everybody that he doesn't like. Whether it's CBS for running an interview with Kamala Harris, uh, whether it's the judges, the prosecutors, the radical left lunatics that he says he would sick the military on. It doesn't matter if Trump doesn't like you. He has made it clear he's gonna come after you. He's threatened to pull CBS broadcast license. He's threatened to pull ABC, newses or ABC's broadcast license. He wants to go after any person, place, or company that is not solidly 100% behind him. So that is what I think this thread is about, letting these billionaires know. If you don't pick a side, then you're not on our side.
And of course, we have Jeff Bezos, the owner of the Washington Post, who didn't let the paper make an endorsement this year, probably because he is afraid of Donald Trump. Mark Zuckerberg saying, I'm gonna stay out of this race. Plenty of other billionaires not picking aside 'cause they wanna wait and see who comes out on top. And this is their message to them. We are watching you, and if you don't support Donald Trump or if you don't support anybody, you're done. We're gonna come after you. And honestly, Trump would do that. He would abuse whatever power he may have. 'cause nobody around him will tell him no. He will pack it as his aides have already told us,
With people that will do what he says. So if he says, go after Bezos and Amazon, they're gonna do it. If he tells the DOJ, Hey, take down Facebook, they're gonna do it. This is their warning shot. And at this point, those billionaires only have a couple days to decide, do you want to be on the right side of history or do you wanna side with fascism because you're afraid that this little authoritarian is gonna come after you if he wins.
