During his interview with reporters from The Atlantic, Donald Trump threw his entire administration under the bus in order to distance himself from one of his most unpopular and illegal actions. Trump said that he is “not involved” in any of the discussions regarding the release and the defiance of the court order to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia, in spite of the fact that he has repeatedly mentioned the case in talks with reporters, during White House sessions, and on Truth Social. The man is lying to avoid taking responsibility, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

During his recent interview with the Atlantic that he of course, had told people ahead of time he was doing just to challenge himself. But during that interview, Donald Trump threw his entire administration under the bus. They were asking him about one of his most unpopular moves as president, which of course is defying the Supreme Court's order to bring back or facilitate the return of Kmar Abrego Garcia. And, uh, Trump said, I got nothing to do with that. There's like layers and layers of people, he said, and, uh, you know, they, they, those guys are totally the ones doing that. Here's how that went down. Trump started by saying, I think the judge is horrible referring to James Boberg, the original judge on the case. I've had a lot of horrible judges and I won on appeal, right? I got immunity on appeal. Okay? That's literally the only appeal that you actually won.

All of the other cases, all of the other things that you appealed, you lost and you lost bad, like embarrassingly bad. And on this specific case too, um, you didn't win on appeal, you, you lost. So I don't know what the frick you're referring to, but it's not real. And then they asked the question, um, they asked him about Kmar, Braigo Garcia, and, uh, Trump said, you know, I'm not involved in that. Uh, I have many people, many layers of people that do that. I would say they're all extremely tough, dangerous people. I would say that. And don't forget, they came in the country illegally, which is a civil misdemeanor offense, by the way, something that conservatives don't ever want to acknowledge. But immigration issues, including entering the country illegally. Not only are they misdemeanors, but they are handled in civil court, not criminal court, but there's layers and layers of people.

Those are the ones by the way, that are totally defying that court order. I don't even know what's going on, right? Trump's like, I don't handle this guy. Now, of course, as we all know, about a week or so ago, Donald Trump decided to just kind of spur of the moment, show pictures of Abrigo Garcia's hand telling us that these symbols that he has tattooed on his fingers somehow represent MS 13. Remember, they put the m the s, the one, the three there, even though members of MS 13 literally have MS 13 tattooed on them. It's not symbols, it's not coded language. It's literally MS or MS 13. But this administration made it up and Trump was the one who went out there and showed us the picture. He has attacked this man on truth social. So to say that you are not involved

Is total bull crap. You've attacked the Supreme Court for their rulings against you. You've attacked the lower court judge, and here he is talking to these two reporters for the Atlantic. He is like, I, I don't even know. There's like layers of people. What I, I, I just mind blowing with the lies, this man will quite literally lie about anything and everything. And I haven't seen the full interview from the Atlantic. I don't even know, honestly if it had been released, uh, uh, by this point. But I hope they pushed back on that, right? I hope they didn't just sit there and like, oh, hmm, okay, wow. Yeah, no, this is the kind of thing you need to stop him mid-sentence and be like, hold up idiot. That's not true. Don't even let him finish the lie. Stop him in the middle of it. In say, that's not true.
