3:13Now PlayingTexas Democrats have left the state and will be arriving in Washington, D.C., tonight despite a special session requesting them to regather tomorrow in Texas.
They will not return to the Lone Star State unless its latest voting bill is removed. The bill would put a limit on early voting hours, restricting voting options and regulating voting by mail. Texas Republicans advanced the voting bill which means that the next step is to vote on the bill if there’s a quorum. Previously, Democrats staged a walkout during a regular session in May so that there weren’t enough people in the session and the bill didn’t pass.
